Sharing AI Visibility Dashboards

Learn how to generate a public, read-only link to your AI Visibility dashboard. Control visible tabs, lock filters, manage link expiry, and share reports securely.

Updated this week

What it is

Sharing AI Visibility dashboards allows you to create a public, read-only link to a brand dashboard.

Anyone with the link can:

  • View the selected dashboard tabs

  • See the data based on your chosen filters

  • Interact with filters (if not locked)

They cannot:

  • Edit data

  • Change tracked terms

  • Modify settings

  • Access other projects

Shared links grant read-only access to selected brand dashboard only.

Why it matters

AI Visibility reporting is often consumed by:

  • Executives

  • Clients

  • Marketing teams

  • PR teams

  • Product teams

Instead of exporting data or giving platform access, you can:

  • Share a live, up-to-date dashboard

  • Control what’s visible

  • Lock the view for consistent reporting

  • Maintain data security

This makes AI Visibility reporting scalable without adding operational overhead.

How it works

To share a dashboard:

  1. Go to your AI Visibility project

  2. Click the Share icon located next to your domain name (top left)

3. Configure sharing options

  4. Click Create link

Step-by-step setup

1. Choose which dashboard to share

You can select which tab(s) will be visible in the shared link:

  • Overview

  • Competitors

  • Citations

  • Sentiment

Viewers will only see the tabs you select.

2. Choose filter behavior

You can define how filters behave for viewers:

  • Internal collaboration

  • Flexible exploration

  • Executive reporting

  • Client reporting

  • Standardized monthly reports

3. Create the link

Click Create link to generate a public URL.

The link:

  • Grants read-only access

  • Is restricted to this brand dashboard

  • Reflects the selected tabs and filter behavior

Link validity & management

Expiration

  • Shared links are valid for 30 days by default

  • You can extend the validity period

This ensures reporting access remains controlled and temporary.

Link history & status

In the Share screen, you can view:

  • Previously generated links

  • Their status (Active or Expired)

  • Expiration details

You can manage links directly from this screen.

What viewers can and cannot do

Viewers can:

  • See selected dashboard tabs

  • View charts and metrics

  • Adjust filters (if not locked)

Viewers cannot:

  • Edit tracked search terms

  • Change competitors

  • Modify settings

  • Access other projects

  • Generate exports

Access is strictly read-only.

What to expect

Shared dashboards are live.

This means:

  • Data updates automatically based on scheduled runs

  • Visibility, sentiment, and competitor metrics reflect current performance

  • No need to resend reports manually

If filters are locked, viewers will always see a consistent reporting view.

Best practices

Use locked filters for client reporting
Ensures consistency and prevents misinterpretation.

Use flexible filters internally
Allows teams to explore performance dynamically.

Review link history regularly
Deactivate or let expire links that are no longer needed.

Standardize reporting views
Create a consistent monthly or quarterly filter preset before generating links.
