The Keyword Ranking Table is your source of truth on all your ranking results. This is where you will find all the metrics relating to your keywords.

We offer a variety of customizable options when viewing your keyword metrics, most of which can be found in the Settings > Table section.

There are a number of things you can do to customize* your project experience, but first let's start by giving an overview of the project** Ranking Table.

*All customizations made to this page are replicated to ViewKey
**The keyword ranking table is visible on a project, group or tag level.

Project Header & Charts

1: Tracked domain + last the automatic update took place

  • This will display the tracked domains in the project, group or tag.

  • If you are tracking more than 3 domains, the project name will be displayed, like this.

  • The Last updated date and time indicates the last time your keywords were update automatically

2: Keyword movement metric blocks

  • These blocks will show you the movement of your keywords by your preferred position tiers.

  • Toggle the date range to view your keyword movements in the last 1d, 7d, 30d of from the start.

Customization options

  • You can change the comparison metrics in the block to calculate the movement based on the

    • Daily change

    • Weekly change

    • Monthly change

    • Change from the start

  • You can also choose to completely remove the metrics block and chart too

  • You can change the position tiers to suit your requirements. These position tiers will be visible in the Top Position Chart

  • You can set the default sorting of the table by any column. you can also set the default sorting by clicking on the column header in the keyword ranking table. Note that the default sorting is by date keywords was added

3: Visibility and Estimated Traffic charts

Visibility Chart:

  • Track Your Website’s Presence: The Visibility chart evaluates your website's presence in Google's organic search results, considering keyword rankings, click-through rates (CTR), and search volumes.

  • Optimize Your SEO Strategy: Use visibility insights to refine your SEO approach, aiming for higher rankings and improved online presence, which can lead to increased organic traffic.

Estimated Traffic Chart:

  • Forecast Traffic Potential: The Estimated Traffic chart calculates expected traffic based on your keyword rankings, average CTR, and search volume, giving you a clear picture of your site's potential to attract visitors.

  • Prioritize High-Impact Keywords: Leverage the estimated traffic data to focus your SEO efforts on keywords that promise the highest traffic returns, aligning your strategy with audience search behavior.

4: Google Analytics

  • See your GA4's Traffic Acquisition > Users by Organic Searches group over time

And now for the best part, the Keyword Ranking Table

5a: Project Menu

  • This is where you can access all other metric and tools to manages your and analyze your keywords:

    • Keywords - This is your main ranking table

    • Top Pages - See your top performing URLs

    • Share of Voice - See who your true competitors are

    • Keyword Suggestions - See which keywords you are ranking for, but not tracking

5b: Keywords action menu

  • These are all the actions possible for managing and organizing your keywords

Edit keyword(s)

Create & Edit tags

Refresh keyword(s) ranking

You can do an forced update of your keyword, to get the latest ranking in real-time

View historic rankings of your keywords.

Here you can select keywords in your project and see their historical ranks in one chart

Export keywords

This will export just the keyword(s) phrases to CSV

Delete keyword(s)

Once deleted, this cannot be undone

Move keyword(s)

Move your keyword(s) and all history to another project or group

Copy keyword(s)

Copy keyword(s) to another project or group

Add or remove from favorites

Once added as a favorite the row will be highlighted in yellow

5c: Project search and filter

  • This is where you can search and filter your keywords in the project, group or tag

  • This is where you will see all your metrics relating to your keywords

  • You can read more about the columns here

Customization options

  • You can change the number of keywords to display per page.

    • It is very important to note that the more keywords you load on a page, the slower it will be to load your ranking table.

  • Choose which columns to display in your ranking table, PDF reports and ViewKey page

  • You can set your keyword ranking table view to show your groups in the parent project. If you set is to "Display groups in parent project" in the Other Settings section, you will see all your keywords in the main project page with heading per group.

  • You can show or hide the keyword total at the bottom of your ranking table

6: Export and Share keyword ranking table

  • You can export your Keyword Ranking Table to PDF, CSV or Text

  • You can also share a real-time ViewKey report to your customers or stakeholder

    • The ViewKey report can also be embedded into a web page by coping the embed code

Customization options

  • You can customize the ViewKey domain, company details and security by accessing the ViewKey Branding page in the settings

  • You can also customize these settings per project by selecting the project menu > ViewKey Project Settings

7: Project menu

  • Here you can make changes relating to your project or group

    • ViewKey Branding

    • Project or group name

    • Archive or delete a project

      • When you archive or delete the projects and their keywords will be available for 30 days before being permanently deleted

8: Global search

  • This is where you can search for anything relating to your keywords using a number of search operands
