What it is
API-only plans are designed for customers who want to access and manage their Google SERP tracking data through the Keyword.com API or compatible integrations, without needing the Keyword.com dashboard.
These plans are ideal for developers, agencies, and businesses that use their own reporting tools, automated workflows, or integrations such as ChatGPT and Claude through MCP.
API-only plans offer a more affordable alternative to standard plans while providing access to the same Google SERP tracking data.

What's included
API-only plans include:
Full API access: Read and write access to retrieve ranking data, manage projects and keywords, and access historical ranking information.
Automatic and manual ranking updates: Keywords are automatically updated based on your plan's update frequency (weekly or daily). You can also trigger manual, on-demand refreshes when needed, subject to your plan's refresh allowance.
Tracking depth options: Consistent Tracking (Top 50) or Enhanced Tracking (Top 100).
MCP integration: Access and manage your tracking data through compatible applications such as ChatGPT and Claude.
Dedicated API-only dashboard: Manage your account, subscription, billing, keyword usage, API activity, team access, and integrations.
Integrations: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio).
AI Visibility is not included: API-only plans are specifically for Google SERP tracking and do not include the AI Visibility tool.
Dashboard limitations
API-only plans do not include access to the Keyword.com ranking dashboard.
This means you won't be able to view ranking charts, reports, or manage projects and keywords through the standard platform interface.
Instead, you'll access and manage your tracking data through the API or compatible integrations. You'll still have access to the dedicated API-only dashboard for account administration.
Pricing
API-only plans are available from 1,000 to 100,000 keywords, with weekly or daily updates and a choice between Top 50 and Top 100 tracking.
Monthly and annual billing options are available.

Switching from a standard plan to API-only
If you're already subscribed to a standard Keyword.com plan, you can switch to API-only without losing your existing tracking data.
What stays the same
Your existing:
Projects and keywords
Tags and historical ranking data
Tracking configurations and schedules, provided they're supported by your new plan
API and MCP connections
Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Looker Studio integrations
will remain intact.
Your keyword tracking will continue according to the update frequency and tracking depth included in your new subscription.
What changes
When switching to an API-only plan, you'll no longer have access to:
Keyword.com dashboard: You won't be able to view rankings, charts, or manage projects and keywords through the standard interface.
Scheduled reports and weekly project update emails: Automated reports and weekly ranking summary emails are not available on API-only plans.
Spyglass: You won't be able to access the captured Google SERP snapshots used to verify keyword rankings.
Instead, you'll access and manage your tracking data through the API or compatible integrations, while the dedicated API-only dashboard remains available for account and subscription management.
