Using Quick Start in AI Visibility

Learn how Quick start helps you choose suggested topics and prompts, configure them for tracking, and build an initial AI Visibility setup faster

What it is

Quick start helps you begin tracking relevant AI prompts for your domain.

It uses your business context to suggest topics, then provides prompts you can review and add to your AI Visibility tracking.

Quick start is designed to speed up initial setup. You remain in control of which topics and prompts are added.

Why it matters

AI Visibility only measures the prompts you choose to track.

Quick start helps you:

  • Start with relevant topic ideas

  • Build prompt coverage more quickly

  • Avoid beginning with an empty prompt list

  • Review suggested prompts before tracking them

  • Combine suggested prompts with your own strategic questions

It is a starting point for building your tracking set, not a record of real-time user queries or private AI-engine search data.

How Quick start works

1. Confirm your business context

At the top of Quick start, you will see suggestions based on your domain and selected customer type.

Select Change to refine this context.

You can provide:

  • What does your business offer? Add a short description of your product or service.

  • Who are the customers? Choose the most relevant audience:

    • Consumers

    • Businesses

    • Agencies

    • Local customers

Providing accurate context helps Quick start make suggestions that are more relevant to your business.

2. Review the suggested topics

Quick start shows suggested topics based on your domain and business context.

Select the topics that are relevant to your business. You can choose more than one topic.

If you need a more specific category, select Add your own topic.

Topics help organise prompts into meaningful business areas for later reporting.

3. Review the suggested prompts

After selecting a topic, Quick start provides suggested prompts for that topic.

Review the prompts before adding them. You can:

  • Keep relevant prompts

  • Remove individual prompts you do not want to track

  • Add your own prompt to a topic

  • Remove a topic if it is not relevant

You do not need to add every suggestion. Select prompts that reflect the questions you want to measure in AI-generated answers.

4. Choose tracking settings

Before adding the selected prompts, choose the tracking settings that apply to them.

This includes:

  • AI engines

  • Region, where supported

  • Tags, if needed

  • Update schedule

Available update schedules are:

  • Every day

  • Every 2 days

  • Every week

  • Every 2 weeks

  • Manual

The page shows the number of selected prompts and the estimated monthly credit use before you add them.

5. Add the prompts

Once you are happy with the selected topics, prompts, and settings, add them to AI Visibility.

The prompts will appear in the Prompts table and begin tracking according to the schedule you selected.

Each prompt can belong to one topic at most. You can later update its topic, tags, schedule, and other settings from the Prompts screen.
