We’ve got another important update to share about how we’re adapting to Google’s recent changes.
As you know, Google’s removal of the &num=100 parameter has made it impossible to collect accurate Top 100 rankings in a single request. To keep your data accurate and reliable, we’ve introduced a new hybrid tracking model, which means you'll still be able to collect Top 100 rankings without added costs to your package.
Here’s what’s changing:
Daily or Weekly Top 20 Tracking: All keywords will now be tracked for their Top 20 positions—where most of the clicks and visibility shifts happen.
On-Demand Updates (Top 20 Only): Instant, on-demand rank updates will now be limited to Top 20 results.
Broader View of Top 100: We’ll still collect Top 100 rankings, but less frequently (weekly or monthly, depending on your package) to keep costs and performance optimized.
Upgrade Options: If you need full Top 100 rankings tracked more frequently, you can upgrade your package. An upgrade also unlocks on-demand Top 100 updates, giving you complete flexibility to check full rankings instantly. Contact our customer support team for pricing details.
Why we're introducing the Hybrid tracking model:
The Top 20 is where the real action happens—where competitors show up and where visibility impacts performance the most.
Positions 21–100 are still valuable for spotting long-term opportunities, so you’ll continue to see that broader picture, just tracked in a more strategic way.

Hi there,
We wanted to give you a quick heads-up about a recent change from Google that’s impacting how SEO tools like Keyword.com collect ranking data.
Google has stopped showing 100 results at once.
Now, only the first 10 results (page 1) are returned by default, unless we manually go page by page to collect more. To adapt, we’re currently tracking up to page 5 of Google results (positions 1–50). Rankings beyond position 50 may not be available at this time.
What this means:
You may notice that some keywords are only showing rankings up to position 50. We’re actively working on solutions to expand tracking further while keeping performance and costs optimized.
Once we fully understand the technical and cost impact of this change, we’ll share more about how it may affect your tracking. In the meantime, if you’re seeing gaps in your rankings or need help, please reach out to our support team—we’re here to help.
