AI Visibility allows you to track how your brand appears in AI-generated search results, such as Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and others. With this feature, you can monitor how often your brand is mentioned, how prominently it ranks, and how it’s being perceived compared to competitors.

Key terms

Here are a few terms you’ll see throughout the platform:

  • Brand: The domain you are tracking.

  • Topic: A group of related search terms used to organize your AI visibility tracking.

  • Region: The location the AI search is run from. At the moment, localization is supported for Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT.

  • Interval: How often the search term will be automatically updated (e.g. daily, weekly).

  • Search Term: The question or phrase you want to track across AI search engines.

  • AI Engine: The model being tracked (e.g. Google Gemini 2.0, Perplexity, etc.).

  • Run:

Metrics you will be tracking

Every tracked term gives you a full breakdown of your brand’s performance in AI-generated results. These include:

  • Visibility Score: How often and how highly your brand appears in AI search results.

  • Position / Rank: Where your brand is mentioned in the AI-generated content (1 = first).

  • Sentiment Score: Indicates how positively your brand is described by the AI.

  • Mentions: The number of times your brand appears in test results.

  • Detection Rate: How often your brand was detected across all test runs.

  • Citations: Number of times your brand was linked or referenced with authority.

  • Top 3 Visibility: The percentage of times your brand was in the top 3 positions.
